It's here...

I leave tomorrow...! It's been an interesting past few weeks leading up to this. I've been preparing for so long that it got to the point where it seemed like the day would never come. Now that it is here it is so surreal, it just hits me in small seconds throughout the day that I'm about to leave for 10 months. I've never really been away from home for longer than about a month before; even these past few years at Tech I've been home usually at least once a month. I'm excited--and pretty much have absolutely no idea what to expect. It is really sad to say goodbye to everyone and everything here, although getting so many goodbye phone calls and messages was awesome, thank you guys :). I'm worried that I'll miss some major stuff while I'm away, but lets hope nothing too serious.

In about 15 hours I'm getting on a plane with my mom and leaving my life for a year. We'll move in for two days then train off to Belgium for three days to tour around and my mom has some client meetings (good excuse to come help me move in right? ;). There is so much that I'm anxious about, but most of it is pretty subdued. I just hope and pray that everything goes well with the travels and move in. I'll post pictures when I get the apartment together.
